But I’m Not A Writer…

Many CEOs, business owners, entrepreneurs, and speakers have expressed to me that they have been told numerous times that they need to write and publish a book. Many have told them that their ideas are really good and are worth sharing with the rest of the world in the form of a book.

Yes, they know they need a book. However, what’s stopping them is that they know they aren;t “real” writers. There is some truth in this statement. Most people who come to me are not, in fact, writers. They have written as part of their business but they are not writers.

Just because someone can talk, does not make them a certified speaking professional. Let’s say that a person who has never spoken before goes to the National Speakers Association Annual Convention to speak. Maybe they do some things right but the audience, full of professional speakers, would know every last nuance of everything that needs a professional touch. Speaking takes practice and training. The same is true for real writers and publishers.

So, the problem is real. But what if you need a book now to scale your business? This is the time when you hire a professional. A mistake that you should avoid, as many successful business people have done before, is to slap a book together. All it ends up looking like is a slap-dashed book. And all you end up looking like is a hack.

There is a saying that you only have one chance to make a good first impression. Your book is yout time machine–it’s your stand-in for you. How is your book representing you? How is it helping you put your best foot forward? How is it helping you stand out and gain more clients and grow your revenue? These are things to think about.

So what if you’re not a writer? A professional can help you.

Talk to me if you’re ready for real, professional results and if you want

  • a book that is truly going to scale your business
  • to have that support to take your writing from where it is to where it can be
  • to get your message to your audience

I opened some time to talk to you about where your business is, where you’d like it to go, and how a book can get you there.

I look forward to helping you scale your business with a well-written, well-presented, high quality conversation-starting book.
